painting mdf

so i took on apersonal project where i need to paint mdf, meaning I also need to prep and prime. What do you guys recommend using?

you might want to check out Kilz or the zinsser primer. the latter has fast drying option which is always a plus

For the primer, Zinsser Shellac or Oil can work well. What's your preference on primer material? The paint can be Benjamin Moore as that's my go-to but if you want something enamel-like and durable, Sherwin-Williams is also fantastic. For me I recommend you'd seal too, use Minwax for that.
