My bro snagged this old 2012 Harley, and it's got black paint peeling off, but it looks like sweet chrome underneath.

What's the best way to strip that paint? Or any other bright ideas?
This ain't my usual kind of painting, and I've barely touched car stuff, to be honest.

I need all the advice and insights

Easiest way I'd reco is to start with a plastic razor blade or a heat gun to gently lift the peeling spots, then switch to something like aircraft paint remover for the stubborn areas

Citristrip! t's gentle but effective. a heat gun and plastic scraper can also work without damaging the metal. you can try testing a small spot to see if it will easily come off? Could save you some hassle!

I agree with the commentors above. try to sttart with a Milder Chemical Stripper. Don't go straight for the harsh stuff.
Grab a product like Citristrip or a general purpose paint remover. These are usually non toxic and won't damage the chrome.
Apply it, let it sit for a bit, and then use a plastic scraper or an old toothbrush to gently scrub the paint off
