my brother's hitting a wall with the product shortages, trying to figure out what to use for his painting jobs.
He's heard good things about Insl-X Cabinet Coat, specifically the newer stuff with the Genex colorant.
He knows it brushes and rolls nicely, but he's wondering how it sprays and what tips you guys are using.
The Ben Moore rep says he can go straight over alkyd without primer, but my brother's a little iffy on that. And how does it do with dark colors?
He's also used Scuff-X before and loves how it feels, but he always primes first, even though he's heard some painters just go directly over alkyd with that too.
And don't even get him started on Centurion 400 1K Acrylic Urethane, he likes it, but that stuff pulls so hard when it dries, it makes his caulk crack out!
