I'm working on a small home project and tried out a couple cans of this Deft clear wood finish. So far, I'm very impressed. Its been great for finishing about 5 feet of handrail, 6 spindles, and a box newel, and it's very much easier than setting up a sprayer for smaller jobs.

It's definitely easier than setting up a sprayer for smaller projects. I once refinished a whole set of cabinet doors with their aerosol cans when my equipment was on the fritz and the finish was beautiful. Are you working with the gloss or satin version for your handrail?

What kind of wood are you finishing, and have you noticed how the Deft affects the grain or color compared to other clear finishes you've used?

Very nice! Thanks for sharing that. I use satin
