I usually skip dusting when I'm working on homes. I just prime and sand. But since someone else will be doing the final painting, should I dust or sand it for them?

what you can do is to dust after sanding. It will help the paint stick better and the painter will thank you for it! Happy painting!

Be sure to dust or lightly sand the surface before passing it on. Even if you've already primed and sanded, a bit of dust can still mess with your paint job. Grab a microfiber cloth or a vacuum, and then wrap things up with a tack cloth to make sure you have a nice, smooth surface. This will really make your final coat shine
