Started my painting business in KC last winter and got a few jobs from my uncle's referrals. I'm trying to avoid paid lead services unless they really pay off. Has anyone had success with door hangers or teaming up with local realtors and what's the best way to get repeat customers without spending too much?

Teaming up with realtors and using door hangers? I think it's a smart move, but make sure you're hitting the right spots. And for those loyal clients, keep those texts coming, give them a shout during the holidays, and hook them up with discounts when they send friends your way

Thanks for the tips! I've been thinking about doing a small batch of door hangers before fall hits, maybe targeting neighborhoods with older homes that might need exterior work. For texting past clients, do you usually keep it casual or send something more like a promo message? How early should I reach out before the holidays without it feeling pushy? I'd like to get a few jobs lined up before the cold really sets in.
