Is this a good way to paint over silicone caulk?

I've been seeing a lot of questions here on how to paint over silicone caulk. I did one before because I wanted to reset everything, remove it, but that's just so lengthy. What I did was to add latex caulking then use oil for priming. Then I proceeded with Pantone 207 and it wad so beautiful. I don't have problems so far. Is this good? Need your feedback because I have a contract this weekend.

Congrats! Silicone caulk painting is even more difficult than drinking an entire lemon squeeze. I don't know why many have been doing it lately. I simply suggest you share a guide to others here.

Silicone's a pain to paint over on its own, but adding latex caulk as a bridge layer like you did can really smart Oil based primer on top was a smart move too, it bites better. If it's held up this long with no peeling or bleed through, you're probably good to go. Just make sure the surface is super clean and dry before applying the latex and primer again for your contract job. nice work @Lolita143

For a contract job, you might want to consider the industry standard (silicone removal) for a more reliable result
