Is Benjamin Moore in Impervo? 👀

I've been such a fan of Benjamin Moore's products but I heard some buzz that they might discontinue Satin Impervo after already pulling Super Spec S/G alkyd enamel. Honestly love how their alkyd finishes perform and it's hard to imagine losing them completely. Has anyone else heard these whispers? Suppose they're moving everything to waterborne options. That might be great for some regions but alkyds are still in demand especially here in North America.

What are your thoughts on this shift? I know many folks rely on their tried-and-true alkyds for specific applications. I wonder if this will push customers toward alternatives like Pro Classic. Share your experiences or any updates you've heard.

Damn I didn't know that. I thought those were just rumors but yeah based on the info you mentioned here, looks like it's true. Well I suppose the reason for the shift is due to new environmental regulations? But if you want something along the same line, do check out Fine Paints of Europe or Advance but do note it's also waterborne. If it's still available then just stock up if you really like it I think

Wow it's wild to think Satin Impervo might actually be on the way out. Feels like the end of an era for alkyd fans! I get why they're shifting to waterborne options with all the new regulations but it's still a bummer. Have you tried Advance yet? I've heard it's a solid alternative though not quite the same magic as Impervo.
