Homeowner hates the color SHE PICKED

Wow. I have this client and we had a very good discsussion before the work started. Everything was agreed upon and we had a really good talk. Too late when I found out she's all talk. Super annoying when it came to the billing. My crew got ready and already painted the house with Pantone 436. Came the billing and she walked out, saying she wouldn't pay for such an "ugly color" as she said? WHICH SHE PICKED? I had to tell her I would bring the contract to my lawyer till she budged and said she'd just get money from the bank. After all this I didn't trust her "PayPal" option anymore and just wanted to get a move on. This is a reminder for you to always prepare a contract, guys. Otherwise my work would have gone to drain.
 
damn, that's horrible and is probably why I'm hesitant to start contract work, you deal with all kinds of aholes

gawd, I hate this kind of people. I'm glad that you have a contract. I agree that it's crucial these days. we can't just trust people like the old days
 
Man, that sounds like a nightmare!
I'm glad you had the contract to back you up!
It's definitely safe and wiser to put everything in black and white!
 
What a headache! never a Karen fan. that contract totally saved you. it's a lesson for everyone to put everything in writing no matter how small the detail is.
