Cheap way to freshen up garage walls?

Need to find a low cost way to clean up the look of my garage walls. They're bare, a bit scuffed, and definitely showing their age but nahh I'm not turning the place into a showroom, just want it to look more put together. Paint seems like the obvious route, but I'm wondering what budget friendly options you all here have had success with. Something easy, durable, and not too fussy would be perfect.

If you can get your hands on some cheap mistinted paint from a hardware store, that's an easy fix. Another trick is mixing water with joint compound and rolling it on. Covers imperfections and gives the walls a clean, finished look without breaking the bank. Have you checked local stores for discounted paint?

Concrete paint is probably the best in terms of affordability, especially if the wall already has concrete on it.
