Can water jetting help with this

One client reached out to me because their fuel business got really messed up since 2 of their tanks that had polyurea were used for another fuel instead of supposedly only fuel! Now the polyurea got really bad and he's asking me for help if they can still use the tanks as it would be such a loss and expensive to replace. So what to do if this happened? Can water jetting actually help with this? Because I know it's gonna be super expensive to do but they probably have the budget instead of buying an all new one and getting polyurea coating on it again. Help?

Too complicated. If they have the budget and time is of the essence then I think its best to start over and replace.

If the polyurea's already compromised, the tank's lining is no longer trustworthy, period. Water jetting can work to strip it down, but only if they plan to recoat properly after so as far as I'm concerned its way better to pay for a full reline than gamble with contaminated fuel and liability issues.

Yeah, water jetting can work if the polyurea hasn't fully broken down into the substrate, you'll need high pressure, like 40k PSI to strip it clean, and then recoat properly, but it can be pricey, but still way cheaper than new tanks but like @gryphonnnn13 said, its kinda complicated so its up to you
