I used BIN shellac based primer recently, and the odor is way stronger than I expected. It's been a few days, and even with ventilation, the smell is still hanging around. Anyone else dealt with this? How long does it usually take to fade, and is there anything that helps speed it up?

I painted with a different primer last week. the smell was strong too but gone after two days with open windows. try using a fan to push the air out it might help the odor fade faster.
